Ham Schulte (Herman Joseph Schulte) was born on September 1, 1912 in St. Louis, Missouri. He made his Major League debut on April 16, 1940 for the Philadelphia Phillies. In 1940, his rookie year, he hit .236 with 1 home run and 21 RBI. Schulte played for the Philadelphia Phillies for his entire 1 year career.
