Ham Nichols (Hamilton James Nichols) was born on October 18, 1924 in Houston, Texas. After going to high school at Lamar (Houston, TX), Nichols attended Rice University. Nichols made his professional debut in the NFL in 1947 with the Chicago Cardinals. He played for the Chicago Cardinals and Green Bay Packers over the course of his 4 year career.
Most people believe that 1947 was Ham Nichols's best year.
