Here is who I think should make the HOF, and who should not (all current players):
shoo-ins:
Ken Griffey Jr.- He is 13 HR's shy of 600 (6th all-time), and has 10 gold glove awards, Griffey is a first ballot hall of famer, no doubt.
Barry Bonds- The only thing with Bonds is that he is "supposedly" on steroids, but he should still get into the hall of fame, he is now just three HR's shy of breaking the all-time HR record, but of course, you already know that. But, something you may not know is that he is just 98 hits shy of 3,000 hits. He most likely won't be a first ballot, but he should eventually get in.
Sammy Sosa- Sosa is also a steroid user, so for many people, Bonds and Sosa aren't shoo-ins, but I think they are. Sosa has 602 career HR's (5th all-time). Sosa will certainly not be a first ballot, but, like Bonds, has a good chance of getting in, according to me.
Jim Thome- Has 487 HR's, isn't a steroid user, he is a great power hitter, and soon he should have 500 HR's, but not a first ballot.
Frank Thomas- I have heard that he is a steroid user, but I like Thomas better than Sosa, and I think he deserves it more than Sosa, he has 501 career HR's. he should get first ballot, in my opinion.
Alex Rodriguez- 496 career HR's, and a .306 career BA, and 2,174 career hits, I think A-Rod is a first ballot HOFer.
Trevor Hoffman- Is considered one of the greatest closers in MLB history. He has 508 career saves and counting (most all-time), with a 2.68 career ERA. He is also a first ballot shoo-in.
Mariano Rivera- Another closer who is considered one of MLB's best, has 426 career saves (3rd all-time), and a 2.32 career ERA. He may not be a first ballot, but he is certainly a shoo-in.
Greg Maddux- Has 340 career wins (10th all-time), with 3,235 career K's, not to mention his 16 Gold Glove awards. He is a first ballot.
John Smoltz- He has 202 career wins, 154 career saves. The only pitcher to have at least 200 wins, and 100 saves. He is a first ballot HOFer.
Roger Clemens- "The Rocket" is 8th all-time on the career wins with 350, and has the most among active pitchers. He is also 2nd all-time in career strikeouts (4,619), he is behind only Nolan Ryan. He ia also a first ballot HOFer.
Possible HOFer's:
I will be coming out with an NFL version soon.

Of the rest, Schilling is the closest, but I think the only part of him getting in is the blood on his sock.
