Hal Stephens (Hal Franklin Stephens) was born on April 14, 1961 in Whiteville, North Carolina. After going to high school at Whiteville (NC), Stephens attended East Carolina University. Stephens made his professional debut in the NFL in 1985 with the Kansas City Chiefs. He played for the Kansas City Chiefs for his entire 1 year career.
