Hal Roberts (Hal Lynn Roberts) was born on August 25, 1952 in Dallas, Texas. After going to high school at W.T. White (Dallas, TX), Roberts attended the University of Houston. Roberts made his professional debut in the NFL in 1974 with the St. Louis Cardinals. He played for the St. Louis Cardinals for his entire 1 year career.
