Hal Puddy (Harold Marvin Puddy) was born on August 18, 1924 in Hood River, Oregon. After going to high school at Hood River (OR), Puddy attended Oregon State University. Puddy made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1948 with the San Francisco 49ers. He played for the San Francisco 49ers for his entire 1 year career.
