Hal Hinte (Harold Hinte) was born on January 25, 1920 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Hinte attended the University of Pittsburgh. Hinte made his professional debut in the NFL in 1942 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 1 year career.
