Hal Herring

Hal Herring (Hal M. Herring) was born on February 24, 1924 in Lanett, Alabama. After going to high school at Lanett (AL), Herring attended Auburn University. Herring made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1949 with the Buffalo Bills. He played in the AAFC for 1 year, playing for the Buffalo Bills the entire time. Herring also played in the NFL for 3 years, playing for the Cleveland Browns the entire time.
Most people believe that 1950 was Hal Herring's best year.
