Hal Griggs (Haldane Alfred Griggs) was born on November 27, 1900 in Toronto, Ont.. After going to high school at Tech (Indianapolis, IN), Griggs attended Butler University. Griggs made his professional debut in the NFL in 1926 with the Akron Indians. He played for the Akron Indians for his entire 1 year career.
