Born on February 9, 1942 in Los Angeles, California, Hal Gilson (Harold Gilson) played for the St. Louis Cardinals and Houston Astros over the course of his 1 year career. Gilson broke into the bigs on April 14, 1968 with the St. Louis Cardinals.
