Born on July 17, 1919 in Portland, Oregon, Hal Erickson (Harold James Erickson) played for the Detroit Tigers for his entire 1 year career. Erickson broke into the bigs on April 14, 1953 with the Detroit Tigers. Harold James Erickson passed away in Ogden Utah on Feburary 14, 2008 at the age of 88. See Article in the www.standard.net.
