Hal Ebersole (Harold Leon Ebersole) was born on September 24, 1899 in St. Louis, Missouri. After going to high school at Montclair Academy (Montclair, NJ), Ebersole attended Cornell University. Ebersole made his professional debut in the NFL in 1923 with the Cleveland Indians. He played for the Cleveland Indians for his entire 1 year career.
