Hal Broda (Harold Albert Broda) was born on July 27, 1905 in Canton, Ohio. After going to high school at McKinley (Canton, OH), Broda attended Brown University. Broda made his professional debut in the NFL in 1927 with the Cleveland Bulldogs. He played for the Cleveland Bulldogs for his entire 1 year career.
