Gus Redman (Augustus A. Redman) was born on December 10, 1896 in Methuen, Massachusetts. After going to high school at Andover (MA), Redman attended none. Redman made his professional debut in the APFA in 1921 with the Muncie Flyers. He played in the APFA for 1 year, playing for the Muncie Flyers the entire time. Redman also played in the NFL for 2 years, playing for the Dayton Triangles the entire time.
