Gus Polidor (Gustavo Adolfo (Gonzalez) Polidor) was born on October 26, 1961 in Caracas, Distrito Federal (Venezuela). He made his Major League debut on September 7, 1985 for the California Angels. In 1987, his rookie year, he hit .263 with 2 home runs and 15 RBI. Polidor played for the California Angels, Milwaukee Brewers and Florida Marlins over the course of his 7 year career.
