Gus Hollomon (Gus Martin Hollomon) was born on October 23, 1945 in Beaumont, Texas. After going to high school at French (Beaumont, TX), Hollomon attended the University of Houston. Hollomon made his professional debut in the AFL in 1968 with the Denver Broncos. He played in the AFL for 2 years, playing for the Denver Broncos the entire time. Hollomon also played in the NFL for 3 years, playing for the New York Jets the entire time.
Most people believe that 1968 was Gus Hollomon's best year.
