Gus Felix

Gus Felix (August Guenther Felix) was born on May 24, 1895 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He made his Major League debut on April 19, 1923 for the Boston Braves. In 1923, his rookie year, he hit .273 with 6 home runs and 44 RBI. Felix played for the Boston Braves and Brooklyn Robins over the course of his 5 year career.
There is some disagreement on what was Gus Felix's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1925, when he hit for a .307 average and knocked in 66 runs. However, others believe that it was 1926, when he hit for a .280 average and knocked in 53 runs.
