Gus Dugas (Augustin Joseph Dugas) was born on March 24, 1907 in St. Jean de Matha, Quebec (Canada). He made his Major League debut on September 17, 1930 for the Pittsburgh Pirates. Dugas played for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Philadelphia Phillies and Washington Senators over the course of his 4 year career.
