Grover Land (Grover Cleveland Land) was born on September 22, 1884 in Frankfort, Kentucky. He made his Major League debut on September 2, 1908 for the Cleveland Naps. In 1914, his rookie year, he hit .275 with 0 home runs and 29 RBI. Land played for the Cleveland Naps and Brooklyn Tip-Tops over the course of his 7 year career.

Most people believe that Grover Land's best season was 1914, when he hit for a .275 average.
