Grover Gilmore (Ernest Grover Gilmore) was born on November 1, 1888 in Chicago, Illinois. He made his Major League debut on April 18, 1914 for the Kansas City Packers. In 1914, his rookie year, he hit .287 with 1 home run and 32 RBI. Gilmore played for the Kansas City Packers for his entire 2 year career.
