Grimsley Investigation Is Bonds-Induced

I'm not sure what this means. How can they link Grimsley. Maybe they plan on fingering bigger guys and eventually get to bonds. Its really gonna hurt when some of the guys we loved were users...

Why does everything they ever have to do with PED's be an attempt to bring Bonds down? How about putting aside the attack on one man and trying to fix the sport.

It means that this investigation was started because of Bonds. The evidence just led to Grimsley, and soon, to others.

That's rediculous. They shouldn't treat him like a organized crime leader. He should be treated like everyone else. I don't like Bonds as much as the next guy, but just because he benfited the most from steroids doesn't mean the Feds should go after him like he was the only user.

I don't care for Bonds...but this seems like a witch hunt. Do I think he's used this stuff, yes. But until he fails a test or comes out and say it, nothing can be done. It would seem like the Feds would have bigger things to worry about.

The lead investigator(s) after Bonds are looking to advance their careers with this case. They know Bonds is hated and they know that if they bring him down specifically, they'll get mad props from all the people out there who want him out of baseball. That's the only reason I can surmise where they would go after him with this type of zeal, when it's obvious he's just the tip of the iceberg.
