Born on December 1, 1963 in Greensboro, North Carolina, Greg Harris (Gregory Wade Harris) played for the San Diego Padres, Colorado Rockies and Minnesota Twins over the course of his 8 year career. Harris broke into the bigs on September 19, 1988 with the San Diego Padres, and put up a 2.60 ERA in 135 innings pitched in 1989, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Greg Harris's best season was 1990, when he posted a 2.30 ERA and struck out 97 batters.
