Greg Oden to Debut Today

According to 1460 The Fan radio (a sports talk radio station in Columbus, Ohio), OSU head basketball coach Thad Matta plans to play freshman phenom Greg Oden today against Valparaiso. Tip is at 4:00 EST. Oden has been sidelined with ligament damage in his shooting hand since the Buckeyes began practicing in October. Matta said he expects Oden to play, but not to start.

The #1 ranked Buckeyes lost for the first time on Wednesday (98-89) at #6 North Carolina.
