Greg Norton (Gregory Blakemoor Norton) was born on July 6, 1972 in San Leandro, California. He made his Major League debut on August 18, 1996 for the Chicago White Sox. In 1998, his rookie year, he hit .237 with 9 home runs and 36 RBI. Norton played for the Chicago White Sox, Colorado Rockies, Detroit Tigers and Tampa Bay Devil Rays over the course of his 11 year career.

Most people believe that Greg Norton's best season was 1999, when he slugged 16 home runs and knocked in 50 runs.
