Greg Gantt (Lewis Gregory Gantt) was born on October 30, 1951 in Birmingham, Alabama. After going to high school at Woodlawn (Birmingham, AL), Gantt attended the University of Alabama. Gantt made his professional debut in the NFL in 1974 with the New York Jets. He played for the New York Jets for his entire 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1975 was Greg Gantt's best year.
