Greg Gaines (Gregory Scott Gaines) was born on October 16, 1958 in Martinsville, Virginia. After going to high school at DuPont (Hermitage, TN), Gaines attended the University of Tennessee. Gaines made his professional debut in the NFL in 1981 with the Seattle Seahawks. He played for the Seattle Seahawks for his entire 7 year career.
Most people believe that 1986 was Greg Gaines's best year, as he recorded 5 sacks.
