Greg Cox (Gregory Mark Cox) was born on January 6, 1965 in Niagara Falls, New York. After going to high school at Walnut Ridge (Columbus, OH), Cox attended Hartnell College and San Jose State University. Cox made his professional debut in the NFL in 1988 with the San Francisco 49ers. He played for the San Francisco 49ers and New York Giants over the course of his 4 year career.

Most people believe that 1989 was Greg Cox's best year.
