Greg Cook (Gregory Lynn Cook) was born on November 20, 1946 in Dayton, Ohio. After going to high school at Chillicothe (OH), Cook attended the University of Cincinnati. Cook made his professional debut in the AFL in 1969 with the Cincinnati Bengals. He played in the AFL for 1 year, playing for the Cincinnati Bengals the entire time. Cook also played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the Cincinnati Bengals the entire time.

Most people believe that 1969 was Greg Cook's best year, as he tossed 15 TDs.
