Born on February 27, 1962 in Detroit, Michigan, Greg Cadaret (Gregory James Cadaret) played for the Oakland Athletics, New York Yankees, Kansas City Royals, Cincinnati Reds, Toronto Blue Jays, Detroit Tigers, Anaheim Angels and Texas Rangers over the course of his 10 year career. Cadaret broke into the bigs on July 5, 1987 with the Oakland Athletics, and put up a 2.89 ERA in 71.2 innings pitched in 1988, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Greg Cadaret's best season was 1991, when he posted a 3.62 ERA and struck out 105 batters.
