BTW, I love Barry Sanders. He's one of my favorite all time players, but I gotta say Walter Payton. He retired as NFL's all time leading rusher. He carried the Bears' offense for several years, and was probably the main reason why the Bears turned around from losing seasons to all right seasons to a superbowl victory.

I agree. I have Payton #1, followed by Brown, Emmitt and then Barry Sanders.

Payton, Brown, Emmit, all those runners are great, however, Sanders did it without any help from an O-line or a decent quarterback to spread defenses. This is an argument that could go on for years to come so the issue will never be resolved. I say Sanders by far.
