Greatest Hoosier of all-time?

by AJNeal52

Kent "Benny" Benson is known for his years at New Castle and being a huge part of the Indiana University's undefeated National Championship season in 1976. But is he the best of all-time coming out of IU? I have great respect for this man who fought his way to the top. I feel he was the best player to come out of IU and possibly the best High School player to ever depart from the state. Benson lead his high school to the final four....In his Sophomore year. He scored 692 points as a senior, including 55 in one game, and was an overwhelming choice for Mr. Basketball that year.
