Great Sports Moments

The 'joy of victory' and 'agony of defeat' represent emotional landmarks that each of us views through our unique sports prisms. I'll just list a few meaningful 'great sports moments' and hope the group can fill me in on theirs. I don't think ranking them would be easy because they're all so personal.
2004: Red Sox come back to beat Yankees and get to the World Series. In a bizarre sense, the Series was anticlimactic.
2003: Andrew Goldstein, a Dartmouth lacrosse goalie scored a goal against Syracuse in one of the most electrifying individual efforts I've ever seen, live or on tape. It was the first goal by a goalie in tournament play for something like 30 years.
2002: Vinatieri last second field goal upsets Rams. Improbable? More like the Impossible happening.
1986: World Series, Game 6. The Buckner moment. Second lowest sports moment ever for me.*
1984: The Flutie Miracle in Miami. I'm not a huge BC fan, but still found his achievement exciting.
1982: Fred Brown makes a key turnover down the stretch, costing Georgetown the NCAA tournament against North Carolina, with Jordan and Worthy.
1974: NC State and David Thompson beat the mighty UCLA Bruins in the NCAA semis to end UCLA's seven straight streak.
1974?: NC State - Maryland ACC tournament game, maybe the greatest basketball game I ever saw. Burleson, Thompson, Towe et al versus Elmore, Lucas, McMillen and company.
(*) In the 2005 Massachusetts D2 North hoop finals, my daughters' team lost in the final seconds 52-51 when a player shot with ten seconds to go, instead of running out the clock with the lead. Gloucester came down and scored in the final seconds to win. The worst 'personal' loss.
