You knew I would show this didn't you? I guess Romo really can't step up to the plate all the time can he?

I think she still loves to have an NFL QB to carry her purse for her.

Can't step up to the plate ALL THE TIME?

I think that because of his hot start and all the hype, people forget how mediocre (and even bad) he was at the end of the season. He lost three of his last four games BEFORE the playoff debacle. He threw 8 INTs in his last 5 games, against just 6 TDs. He passed for just 142 yards against Philly in the second to last week of the season, and had a QB rating below 60 in three of his last five games. Go back and look at the numbers and you'll remember that there were a number of times that he did not step up to the plate prior to that playoff game.

Sorry, that was me. I must have gotten timed out, or something.

Mediocre? It's Romo's fault that Glenn bobbled a TD pass that would've ended the game but instead caused a turnover allowing the Seahawks to take a 1 point lead? Or maybe it's Romo's fault that the ball was chosen by a Seattle ball boy purposely slick so it can increase the chances of slippage. And don't try to deny it either Seahawks fans. The NFL changed the rules around especially because this event took place so that the visiting team will choose its own footballs and be allowed the rub it down before the kick.

I'm being sarcastic there. But I think Romo isn't all that. On the other hand, they could've had Bledsoe in QB.

Insan, if that's the case. Then the COACH should be responsible for them to be training with wet footballs.

Wait, I don't understand. You're saying that the coach should have the team practice with wet balls?

I meant for placeholding. But if you are coming to Seattle, you have to expect some rain. Always be prepared for inclement weather.

There was no rain, just the ball boy screwed the 'Boys over by giving them a slippery ball. It was described as 'slick' not 'wet'. You could clearly see from the footage that that ball was more oily than a 13 year old boy's face with acne.

You're just ticked because the Cowboys screwed up the last half of the season.

First of all, when I was referring to his last five games being mediocre, I was referring to his last five regular season games. He was on a slide before the Seattle game. My point is that it's not like that hold was the first time he didn't rise to the occassion. He was completely miserable against Philadelphia and New Orleans, and his performance (although it was a win) against New York would best be described as lackluster.

Secondly, you gotta make due with the tools you're given. The Cowboys got a slick ball. That's rough. But it's a shoddy craftsman that blames his tools. Slick ball or not, Romo blew the hold.

Yes that's true, but that had nothing to do with the Wild Card game. The Cowboys got screwed, plain and simple. The NFL recognizes it, but they can't publicly say it so they changed the rules.

ASwaff, you're right about Romo's performance and I'm very scared at the fact that he has Eli Manning written all over him but the subject at hand is the slick ball. The Cowboys got screwed, plain and simple. If it was entirely Romo's fault, the NFL wouldn't have changed the rules.

Last hope to hold onto a great moment by a Seahawks fan after he realizes the '07 season will be torturous to watch.

Of course..if you mean by torturous you mean a loss before getting to the Super Bowl.

No, more like torturous in terms of not making the playoffs.

Oh, I had the wrong super bowl year. Still, 11 years in futility. The Seahawks were bad for 35 solid years. But now, we can say that we own the Dallas Cowboys 4 out of 5 years running. I think we should put Seahawks vs. Cowboys under recent rivalries.

Not really, there's no rivalry between the two teams. And the team has had good moments after '96. Bill Parcells came to the team and turned the team around (even though he did a lot worse than good for us) and Romo showed promise, that's a good moment. Emmitt Smith broke the rushing record as well. There's been plenty of good moments. The Seahawks time is over. Alexander is 30 years old coming off a broken foot, the 4 wideout option doesn't work anymore, and your division is a lot tougher than previous years.

Switzer didn't do anything except not mess up the team that year. Jimmy's team won 3 Bowls, not 2 and one Switzer. I don't even think the 'Boys listened to Switzer that year. They probably just did whatever Jimmy what do at certain situations.

I was being sarcastic; the seahawks-cowboys is as much of a rivalry as broncos-texans. But I'm not the one who gave it a minus.
