Grant Gillis (Grant Gillis) was born on January 24, 1901 in Grove Hill, Alabama. He made his Major League debut on September 19, 1927 for the Washington Senators. Gillis played for the Washington Senators and Boston Red Sox over the course of his 3 year career.
