Gran Harrison (Granville Pearl Harrison) was born on July 1, 1917 in Ashland, Mississippi. After going to high school at Ashland (MS), Harrison attended Mississippi State University. Harrison made his professional debut in the NFL in 1942 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions for his entire 1 year career.
