Born on September 24, 1955 in Los Angeles, California, Gorman Heimueller (Gorman John Heimueller) played for the Oakland Athletics for his entire 2 year career. Heimueller broke into the bigs on July 12, 1983 with the Oakland Athletics, and put up a 4.41 ERA in 83.2 innings pitched in 1983, his rookie year.
