Gorham Getchell (Charles Gorham Getchell) was born on August 14, 1920 in Abington, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Jenkintown (PA), Getchell attended Temple University. Getchell made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1947 with the Baltimore Colts. He played for the Baltimore Colts for his entire 1 year career.
