Gordon Watkins (Gordon Campbell Watkins) was born on June 19, 1907 in Atlanta, Georgia. After going to high school at Tech (Atlanta, GA), Watkins attended Georgia Institure of Technology. Watkins made his professional debut in the NFL in 1930 with the Minneapolis Red Jackets. He played for the Brooklyn Dodgers and Minneapolis Red Jackets over the course of his 2 year career.
