Gordon Jones (Gordon Jones) was born on July 25, 1957 in Buffalo, New York. After going to high school at East Allegheny (North Versailles, PA), Jones attended the University of Pittsburgh. Jones made his professional debut in the NFL in 1979 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Los Angeles Rams over the course of his 5 year career.
Most people believe that 1980 was Gordon Jones's best year, as he hauled in 48 receptions, had 669 receiving yards and caught 5 TD passes.
