Gordon Gravelle (Gordon Carr Gravelle) was born on June 12, 1949 in Oakland, California. After going to high school at Ygnacio Valley (Concord, CA), Gravelle attended Brigham Young University. Gravelle made his professional debut in the NFL in 1972 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers and New York Giants over the course of his 8 year career.
