Gordie Browne (Gordon Wayland Browne, Jr.) was born on December 5, 1951 in Franklin, Massachusetts. After going to high school at Chambersburg (PA) and Millis (Medfield, MA), Browne attended Boston College. Browne made his professional debut in the NFL in 1974 with the New York Jets. He played for the New York Jets for his entire 2 year career.
