Goodell Had No Other Choice!

Wonder what Michael Vick thinks of the top dog who polices the NFL? Perhaps he would enjoy electrocuting the commish, or try out some new drowning techniques on the guy who said "stay away from Falcons training camp" last night. While Roger Goodell has shown time and time again he’s not afraid to swing his Louisville Slugger, beating players that don’t abide by the NFL Constitution, some speculated he might treat Michael Vick somewhat differently due to his NFL-Face of the league status. Um, no way Jose! Although it’s not all bad for Vick, well for the time being…He gets a vacation with pay. Which is not bad no matter how you look at it!

Realistically Goodell had no other option but to take action judging by his previous track record regarding players and their off the field activity detrimental to the league. For if he didn’t he would’ve been living in the same doghouse as Vick resides in now. PETA would’ve been barking at him wanting to electrocute him along with Vick. Although Goodell actually did Vick and the entire Falcons organization a big favor, along with saving his face…For his smart move allowed the Falcons to get a pass for the time being on what to do with the face of the franchise. At some point Mr. Home Depot will have to sit in the Budweiser Hot Seat to decide on Vick, just this was almost like a plea bargain of sorts for Arthur Blank in avoiding what’s inevitable…And that’s to face the music own the road!

True, Ron Mexico has not been convicted of any wrong doing…Yeah, and neither was O.J.! So we all know how much that means. Now the smart thing for MV7 to do is seriously consider copping a plea bargain in hopes of avoiding jail time…Although this is not the brightest dog on the block, so we’ll have to wait a see what he conjures up. For his sake, hope his legal advice is a hell of a lot better than his passing skills…

But here where it becomes interesting….You have this high profile ringmaster in Vick, who some believe he’s being the fall guy, (How you doing Emmitt Smith) just because of that right there. Now I’m not a legal analyst, but if he doesn’t take some kind of plea deal, well he’s cooking his own goose even more so! Because I be damn if I was a posse member of Bad Newz Kennel knowing full well all that went on and I’ve got to rot in a 6 x 6 inch cell and he gets to walk and have the opportunity to play professional football again…No sir! You my friend, you would be dimed out! There’s no boys in prison…Every man for himself! Forget "Bros before Hoes! Nothing like the slammer to kill a career. Isn’t that right Rae Carrath?

Sure this has already killed his career, the court public opinion can be more cruel and devastating then a trail by jury without electrocuting and drowning…Although, I guess he wasn’t really career oriented anyway. If he was, he would’ve certain developed his game more so than what he has to this point instead of being more focusing on developing dog to kill! Thing is, he killed dogs for not performing…What if the Atlanta Falcons used that same mentality even time Vick failed them? Seems logical right…Just throw him to the dogs! For he has already killed himself!
