Good time to be a Boston Sports fan

Has there ever been a better year for one town?

Boston has reached the mountaintop but they havent reached the promise land just yet.

Unfortunately, it is.

Boy, this is gonna get ManRays riled up.

It's never been a more fashionable time to be a Boston Sports fan! OR It's a bad time to be a reader of articles of insight and depth.

It's a bad time for those who choose not to like the Red Sox

I wouldn't hate the Red Sox and Patriots if EVERY cities fanbases acted like this, but here we are... For the record, nothing will ever displace my anti-love for the Yankees. So no matter what Boston, enjoy my attention/wrath while you can - you're never gonna be better than second worse in my book.

Manny, I see you're a Rays fan. I spent 14 years in the Tampa area and can understand why you would hate the Red Sox. Their fans show up at the Trop more than you all do

I'm going to shamelessly promote the Bruins, they're playing the Montreal Canadiens tonight on Versus. If you're looking for a less cramped bandwagon to jump onto, I suggest jumping on the Bruins' one. And if you don't know, the Canadiens (a.k.a. Les Habitants) are our biggest rival.

Also, my first officially sanctioned by AGM Bruins article will come tomorrow, watch for it.

Geez no love for the Revolution as they head into the playoffs and have already won the U.S. Open Cup. harrumph....

As amazing as this year is until titles are won 2004 is better, as well as 1986, and 67. I grew up learning about sports as a child in the 1980's, and this decade has nearly surpassed that one. Nearly because all the teams had a level of success, even the bruins who for the first time in almost forever they beat the Canadians in a playoff series. But what's happening this year is amazing! There is a 50/50 chance the city will end up with two titles after this if over.

Anyone remember 10 years ago, when the Sox were cursed, Drew Bledsoe was quarterbacking the Patriots, and the Celtics were lottery bound?
