Godfrey Zaunbrecher (Godfrey William Zaunbrechner) was born on December 17, 1946 in Crowley, Louisiana. After going to high school at St. Michael's (Crowley, LA), Zaunbrecher attended Louisiana State University. Zaunbrecher made his professional debut in the NFL in 1971 with the Minnesota Vikings. He played for the Minnesota Vikings for his entire 3 year career.
