Goat Anderson (Edward John Anderson) was born on January 13, 1880 in Cleveland, Ohio. He made his Major League debut on April 11, 1907 for the Pittsburgh Pirates. In 1907, his rookie year, he hit .206 with 1 home run and 12 RBI. Anderson played for the Pittsburgh Pirates for his entire 1 year career.
