Gloster Richardson (Gloster Van Richardson) was born on July 18, 1942 in Greenville, Mississippi. After going to high school at Coleman (Greenville, MS), Richardson attended Jackson State University. Richardson made his professional debut in the AFL in 1967 with the Kansas City Chiefs. He played in the AFL for 3 years, playing for the Kansas City Chiefs the entire time. Richardson also played in the NFL for 5 years, playing for the Cleveland Browns, Kansas City Chiefs and Dallas Cowboys over the course of his 5 year NFL career.
