Born on January 25, 1916 in Burnsville, North Carolina, Glenn Gardner (Miles Glenn Gardner) played for the St. Louis Cardinals for his entire 1 year career. Gardner broke into the bigs on July 19, 1945 with the St. Louis Cardinals, and put up a 3.29 ERA in 54.2 innings pitched in 1945, his rookie year.
