[edit] Biography
Glenn Dorsey (Glenn Jamon Dorsey), born August 1, 1986, was a defensive tackle for LSU and was taken 5th overall in the 2008 NFL Draft by the Kansas City Chiefs.
Even in high school, Dorsey appeared destined for the NFL. He was named a Parade All-American and was the second-highest rated player in Louisiana by Rivals.com. He immediately paid dividends to LSU -- on his first collegiate snap, in a 2004 matchup versus Oregon State, Dorsey forced a fumble. His freshman and sophomore campaigns were in a reserve role, as he was blocked by a pair of All-American defensive tackles.
An excellent player against the run, Dorsey lead the Tigers as a junior to a fantastic 97.1 rushing yards allowed per game. He won SEC Defensive Lineman of the Week honors twice, and registered six tackles for a loss in LSU's first three games.
He was widely considered to be the top pick in the 2008 NFL Draft, but injury concerns hampered him and he fell to #5 overall.

[edit] Trivia
- Dorsey is nicknamed Putt, which was given to him at a very early age. It came about because the only time he would get up and walk as an infant was when a Putt-Putt commercial would come on television.
