Glen Burgeis (Murl Glen Burgeis) was born on October 7, 1921 in Ballard, Texas. After going to high school at Central (Tulsa, OK), Burgeis attended the University of Tulsa. Burgeis made his professional debut in the NFL in 1945 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears for his entire 1 year career.
