Gino Cimoli (Gino Nicholas Cimoli) was born on December 18, 1929 in San Francisco, California. He made his Major League debut on April 19, 1956 for the Brooklyn Dodgers. In 1957, his rookie year, he hit .293 with 10 home runs and 57 RBI. Cimoli played for the Brooklyn Dodgers, Los Angeles Dodgers, St. Louis Cardinals, Pittsburgh Pirates, Milwaukee Braves, Kansas City Athletics, Baltimore Orioles and California Angels over the course of his 10 year career.

There is some disagreement on what was Gino Cimoli's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1959, when he hit for a .279 average and knocked in 72 runs. However, others believe that it was 1962, when he hit for a .275 average and knocked in 71 runs.
